Who is Tshepang Mokoena?
I am a simple guy who loves fashion, an extrovert and a very outspoken guy who loves communicating with others and eventually learning from them.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey was not quite exciting, ups and downs here and there. Through all that life has thrown at me I managed to get to where I am today because of the discipline within me and the support of those around me. It all started when I was very young, I grew up as a very creative person, basically I am a creative thinker and having something of my own was always something in my mind, that is where the idea of having my own clothing line emerged and my love for fashion made the whole idea complete.
What does social responsibility mean to you?
Social responsibility means being a responsible member of society, lending a helping hand to those in need the best way I can and leading by example and morality to help build a strong nation that will produce future entrepreneurs.
What makes you a Man Making Moves?
The courage of coming up with ideas to start my own brand, finding ways to make it known to other people and finding options of what to do in order to ensure that it grows. Doing all this by myself personally I think is what makes me a Man Making Moves.
What can you not live without?
I love food so I don’t think I’d survive without food.
How do you keep your head up high all the time?
I try my hardest to ignore/avoid negative people and negative environments, I believe negativity is one of the elements that leads to discouragement. I try to remain positive and keep believing that one I’ll make it, so positivity keeps me going no matter how bad my day may be going.
What is it that people don’t know about you?
People don’t know that I’m actually a very good cook and that play football quite well.
What are your wardrobe staples and why?
I’m not really sure if I can call them ‘staples’ but whatever I feel like wearing on that day, I make sure I wear it to the best level. However I do have some Palladium boots, Jonezy t-shirts and Jonezy hoodies that I absolutely love wearing simply because they bring out the best in me and somehow manage to pump up my mood.
